It's been beautiful summer
weather with temps in the 80's. Kensington city received .90 rain in several
showers Friday and Saturday nights. It's been a lovely summer with lots of
green grass and beautiful flowers and gardens. The milo, corn, grass and
alfalfa are looking good for the farmers, too. These cooler days hasten the
passing of August which is often hot and dry in this area.
The Kensington swimming pool
will be open for the last day Sunday, August 17. Bring your family to enjoy
a final dip in our lovely pool.
Wanda Fink, activities
director at Prairie Haven, is on vacation so there is no Prairie Haven news
