Today our local
paper had a front
page article
concerning the issue
of the telemarketers
using cell
phone. The cell
phone numbers were
released August 1 to
the pesky
telemarketers. It is
possible to block
some of these phone
calls as was done on
the land phones
earlier.
To block this
effort, one needs to
call 1-888-382-1222
from the cell phone
that you want these
calls blocked. This
would then put you
and your cell phone
on the National Do
Not Call List. Of
course, you have to
register your phone
number. So give this
your immediate
attention!!!
Telemarketers are a
pain because they
like to call at
mealtime. Persons
had the opportunity
to put their land
line phone on this
list a while ago.
However, it won’t
block off all of
that political
jazz!!!
