Tara Seemann is scheduled for surgery today
(Monday) at Wichita. She hopes to be home in
several days.
Larry Miller is home from the hospital in
Kearney, Neb., where he had bi-pass surgery on
his leg.
Little Brady Grauerholz joined his brother,
Taylor, at home last week with their parents,
Brandon and Kara , in Kearney. Their triplet
brother, Tyler, is still at the Good Samaritan
Hospital in Kearney, but they hope he can be
dismissed soon, too. The triplets were born in
September three months prematurely so it has
been a long four months to get these little
guys home together.
Brittany Kirchhoff received a very good report
from the ear specialist in Omaha last
week There is no damage to her hearing from
the sledding accident before Christmas
Brittany is attending school for half days and
hopes to get to go full time soon.
Our thoughts are with Wanda Fink on the death
of her brother-in-law, Robert Fink, 71, of
McPherson. He was a brother of the late
Leonard Fink. The funeral was Thursday
at the Mortuary in Phillipsburg with burial in
the Agra Cemetery.
It's another frigid day with possible snow
flurries. January is like a severe headache;
the only good thing about it is, "It feels so
good when it is gone." Temperatures may climb
into low 40's by the weekend which will really
seem nice.

Good morning greetings and fun and fitness
exercises begin each day. One-one sessions are
held daily. Jenny Reilley had the beauty shop
open Monday morning and Carmen Rice stayed
busy giving manicures. The residents enjoyed
testing their knowledge on a geography quiz in
the afternoon. Bingo was played Tuesday
afternoon.
The third and fourth grade students came
Wednesday for visiting and play time with
their adopted grandparents. This is always fun
for everyone. Ruth Wolf had a sing-along with
her piano music.
First St. John Lutheran Church had the
Thursday morning Bible class. Coffee,
refreshments and lots of visiting followed.
The Pioneer was read Friday morning and bingo
was played in the afternoon.
Games along with movies and shows such as the
Lawrence Welk Show are often viewed on the big
screen television set.
St. John Lutheran Church had the Sunday
worship and communion service with Pastor
Patsy Koeneke officiating. She was assisted by
Linda Miller and Eulonda Hagman with Ruth
Bienhoff as pianist.
