What a difference a week makes in Kansas. As this column is written Monday afternoon, temperatures have climbed to  60+ degrees with some wind which will make quick work of the remaining snow and perhaps help dry the feed lots for the farmers. This morning's low was a balmy 38 degrees. Earlier last week we experienced lows near zero with highs sometimes not reaching the freezing point. But---don't put away those winter coats, gloves and hats because a cold front is expected later tonight with the possibility of light snow and gusty winds.
