The annual Ice Cream Social
will be held at the
Kensington Community/School
Library Tuesday, July 8 from

of luscious home made
flavors to enjoy. It's a
good time to enjoy the
air-conditioned Library and
visit with your friends.
There will also be a hardly
used book sale. Many books
are duplicate titles and
will give many hours of
interesting reading for a
very nominal price. The
books will be on sale
through Friday, July 18.
Some of the new athletic
uniforms with the Longhorn
logo are also on display in
the Library display case.
The new colors are silver
and royal blue and are very
attractive.
With sunny skies, warmer
temperatures, and lower
humidity, wheat harvest
should be in full swing by
midweek. The harvest is
almost two weeks later than
usual
probably delayed by the
cooler temperatures, rains
and high humidity. Some test
cutting was done last week.

elsewhere in this issue.

are beautiful this year.
