Dr. Mark Bienhoff of the veterinary tech department at Diamond V in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, recently made a business trip to Brisbane and Coolum, Queensland, Australia, and Bangkok, Thailand. His report in a few of his chosen words was as follows: "The journey was rich with both concerning issues as well as unexpected joys. I met some truly fascinating people. Bangkok was disconcerting in so many ways, especially in the way people without the sense of God live. But, they, too, are not outside His love and mercy." He and his mother, Ruth Bienhoff, enjoyed close contact by e-mail while he was gone. Mark practiced Veterinary Medicine in Phillipsburg prior to joining the feed technology field.

The rain last week and cooler temperatures have not allowed the fields to dry to where the farmers can finish their milo harvest. Fields are still extremely muddy.
