The weather gave the farmers a break the end of last week to get more harvesting done. Temperatures as low as ten degrees Friday morning reminded everyone that it is almost Thanksgiving time, but farmers state that it was not cold enough to freeze over the many mud holes in the fields. Moderation of temperatures on Sunday was very much appreciated and are due to continue until Thanksgiving.

We hope everyone will have a very happy Thanksgiving. It has been a sensational year as far as crops are concerned with bountiful yields. There are many concerns with illnesses, heartaches, financial stress and job losses, but we always must count our many blessings. We pray that everyone will take the time to thank God for these many blessings while gathering with family and friends for the holiday.
