Thunder Ridge School Featured in Hays Daily News

The Wednesday, Oct. 8, edition of the Hays Daily News had the headline and the feature story, "Name Change; Pride Doesn't", on their front page with the story continuing on two full pages in the rest of the paper. The article told of the new Thunder Ridge School. It is an interesting "read" and shows the pride that Longhorns have of their new district. It features interviews with school personnel and students as well as local business owners and includes many pictures.

A copy of this issue is on file at the Kensington Community/School Library and is also available on the website at http://www.hdnews.net/Story/kensington100808. We hope everyone will take the time to read this interesting story.

The closing statement by one person interviewed, "We're a new district, and people are very proud of the new Thunder Ridge District," illustrates the pride supporters and enthusiasts have of their new school.
