George and Sandy Powell are taking a few
days off from driving the school busses
and enjoying a Snowcoach Tour of
Yellowstone National Park with Sunflower
Tours.
As this column is written on the first
day of March, it appears March is coming
in like a lamb although it is foggy and
cloudy with light snow falling earlier
this morning. Everyone is ready for
spring with its seven summer days like
old-timers would predict.
The quote of the week borrowed from the
Thunder Ridge Weekly Bulletin is: "It
was one of those March days when the sun
shines hot and the wind blows cold: when
it is summer in the light, and winter in
the shade."
