Kensington School/Community Library
The
Kensington School/Community Library was established
in 1989, and moved into its present building in
1995. As one of only a few combination
school/community libraries in the state, the library
takes pride in welcoming both students and community
patrons to use our facilities simultaneously.
With over 12,000 holdings and computers with
high-speed Internet access, the library appeals to
users of all ages.
Ranked
#4 in the state in the Salina Journal as a
"School/Community" Library.

Larissa Dettmer and Madeline Reneberg
will be hosting the Summer Story Hour
for ages preschool through Grade 4 each
Tuesday afternoon beginning June 1.
Preschoolers thru grade 1 will gather
from 1:00 to 1:55 p.m. Grades 2 through
grades 4 will meet from 2:00 to 2:55
p.m. The theme will be "Take a Splash."
There is still an opportunity to sponsor a book to
help the library reach its goal of raising money for
the Libri Foundation grant. This grant will help the
library get almost 100 new books for the children's
department! Please help us meet our goal of
sponsoring 100 books. Stop by the library to sponsor
a book for only $5.
