March
2nd was Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' Birthday.
We celebrated by providing a Dr. Seuss afternoon for
the elementary children. Everyone visited the
library to check out books. We also explored
seussville.com, made "Cat in the Hat" hats, and
watched a Dr. Seuss movie while enjoying birthday
treats.
The CKLS Rotating Books truck just stopped this
morning, Thursday March 8th. We have a new selection
of children's, YA, and adult books. Also, several
new audio books on CD or Playaway.
We have several new movies we are adding to our
collection: Puss in Boots, Lady and the Tramp, The
Big Year, and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1.
Make tonight a family movie night!
